Wheatland Reservoir #3 has open water for the majority of the lake. The exception is at the boat ramp where there are ice chunks making launching boats difficult.

Road 5 miles east of the reservoir is terrible. Ice is about 24 inches thick with about 4-6 inches of snow on top. Fishing is slow-poor.

Lake was still capped with 18"-36" of ice. Fishing has been Slow to Fair. the trout that have been caught have been good size 4-6 lbs 24"+ this last week. Not much for walleye this week. yellows and white jigs, Kastmasters and jigging raps.
