Snowy Range Lakes

The fishing is Great.  Mirror, Marie, Brooklyn and the Telephone Lakes have been having the best luck. Best Flies: Parachute Adams, Robo Pheasant Tail, Royal Wulff Best Lures: Firetiger and Gold spinners Best Baits: Baby Crawlers and Wanglers

The fishing is Good.  Most of the lakes on top are now thawed out or at least partially thawed.  Brooklyn Lakes are accessible by 4WD vehicles and Libby and Lewis accessible by foot. The fishing is Fair.  The majority of lakes and streams are still frozen and/or inaccessible.  However a few lakes including Hanging Lake and Lake Marie have open sections of fishable water.   Best Flies: Parachute Adams, Thin Mint, Pheasant Tail Flashback Best Lures: Firetiger and Gold spinners Best Baits: Baby Crawlers and Wanglers

The fishing is Slow.  Lakes are still frozen or snow covered.  130 expected to open soon.   Best Flies: N/A Best Lures: N/A Best Baits: N/A

The fishing is Fair to Slow.  It's getting pretty cold up there and snow may make it difficult to hike to the back lakes.   Best Flies: Red Copper John, Robo Pheasant Tail, Hare's Ear Best Lures: Brook Trout Roostertail, Brook Trout Kastmaster Best Baits: Red Worms

The fishing is Fair to Good right now.  Many lakes are still frozen, but Mirror, Marie, both Brooklyns, and the Telephone Lakes are open   Best Flies: Elk Hair Caddis, Parachute Adams, Royal Wulff Best Lures: Brook Trout Rooster Tail, Silver/Red Swedish Pimple Best Baits: Wanglers Worms, Salmon Eggs

The lakes are currently inaccessible.  130 has just been opened but the Snowy Range Lakes will still be frozen and snowed in for another few weeks.
