Description

Lactated west of Laramie, WY in the Snowy Range (Medicine Bow National Forest is a high altitude lake with a NFS camp ground. This 55 Acre lake has boating and fishing with camping, ATV, and trail access as well. Stocked with rainbow, yellowstone cutthroat, and brooke trout this reservoir offers great mountain environment and fishing.

The fishing is Good right now.  Lake Owen is now accessible! Unfortunately the burn scar is bad around the area, but fishing seems good.   Best flies: Prince Nymph, Irresistible, Parachute Adams Best Lures: Brook Trout Rooster Tail, Thomas Firetiger Cyclone Best Baits: Salmon Eggs, Red/Orange Powerbait
