The Laramie River & Platte River are still running high but the fishing is still ok most water conditions are cloudy to milky. The Plains Lakes are fishing Good as a hole but are day to day. |

Laramie Plains Lakes Current Hatches: Mayflies, Caddis and Stoneflies
|
Lake Hattie: Fishing is Good. (Most fish caught are over 20".) In the last week there has been approximately 4 to 5 vertical feet of water put in to the lake and it is back to being one lake, but the boat ramp is still a long way from the water. Lures to use: Rapalas (Shad Rap, Rainbow Trout, Brown Trout), Panther Martins (gold, silver), Mepps, Little Cleo and Thomas Lures. Bait: Power Bait (rainbow), Eggs, Egg Sacs, and Night Crawlers. Flies: Wooly Buggers (Black and Olive), Midges, Scuds (orange, pink or olive), Hot Head Leeches, San Juan Worms, Pheasant Tails, Egg Patterns, Prince Nymphs and Egg Sucking Leeches (purple or black). Meeboer: Fishing is Fair.Lures to use: Mepps, Panther Martins (gold, or silver), Krocodiles, Little Cleo and Blue Fox Spinners. Bait: Night Crawlers and Power Bait (rainbow) Flies: Damsels, Scuds (olive & orange), Wooly Buggers (black or olive), Hot Head Leeches Midges, Princes, San Juan Worms, Pheasant Tail, Egg Sucking Leeches (black or purple) and Egg Patterns. Twin Buttes: Fishing is poor. (Due to high alkali levels Wyoming Game and Fish did not stock the lake this spring.) Their has been more water put in to twin buttes as well as Hattie. Water level hear is up to the boat ramp. Use same setup as Meeboer. Gelatt: Fishing is Fair.Use same setup as Meeboer. Leazenby: Fishing is Good. Use same setup as Meeboer. Sodergreen: Fishing is fair to good. Use same setup as Meeboer. Alsop: Fishing is Fair to good. Use same setup as Meeboer. |

Northern Colorado/ Walden Area |
Walden Area Lakes: Lakes are fishing very good. Reports are few and fair between lately. Lures to use: Rapalas (rainbow trout, silver, or gold), Panther Martins (gold, or silver) Krocidiles, Thomas Lures and Mepps Spinners. Flies: Wooly Buggers (black and olive), Chironomids, Midges, Pheasant Tails, Princes, Scuds, Olive Hares Ear and Egg Patterns. Hohnholz: Lakes are fishing good to great. |

Alpine Lakes |
Lake Owen: Fishing is Great. The lake and the road are open, the camp ground is currently closed for beetle kill removal. Lures to use: Thomas Lures, Krocodiles, Daredevils, Panther Martins and Mepps. Bait: Night Crawlers, Power Bait (rainbow), eggs. Flies: Wooly Buggers (black, brown or olive), Midges, Lighting Bugs, Zug Bugs, Scuds (olive or tan), Princes and Pheasant tails. Rob Roy Res: Fishing is good. The lake and the road are open, the camp ground is currently closed for beetle kill removal. Unsure if the boat ramp is accessible--mixed reports. Use same set-up as Lake Owen Snowy Range Lakes: Lakes are fishing Fair to Good. Some are still partially frozen but more are opening up every day. There is still a good amount of snow off the main roads. Lures to use: Little Cleos, Mepps, Panther Martins (gold, or silver), Krocodiles and Daredevils. Bait: Night Crawlers, Power Bait (rainbow), Eggs. Flies: Wooly Buggers (black, olive or brown), Wooly Worms (black, brown, yellow or olive) San Juan Worms, Pheasant Tails, Princes, Lighting Bugs, Midges, Lighting Bugs and Wooly Worms. |

Laramie Area Rivers |
Little Laramie: Fishing is fair. Lures to use: Thomas (gold or silver), Panther Martins, Mepps and Rapalas (brown or rainbow). Bait: Night Crawlers and Egg Sacs. Flies: Wooly Buggers (black or olive), Nilla Buggers, Hot Head leeches, San Juan Worms (red), Bead Head Flashback Pheasant Tails, Copper Johns (red), Lighting Bugs, Egg Patterns, Midges (red or black) and Princes. Big Laramie: Fishing is Slow to Fiar. Use same set-up as Little Laramie . |

North. Crow Res: Fishing is Fair to good. They now charge a 4 Dollar fee per vehicle to park at the reservoir. Lures to use: Rapalas (brown trout, silver, or gold), Panther Martins (gold, or silver), Rooster Tails and Thomas Lures. Bait: Night crawlers, Power Bait, and Eggs. Flies: Bead Head Wooly Buggers (olive and black), Streamers, Copper Johns (copper or red) #16-20, Princes, Pheasant Tails, Midges, Egg Patterns and San Juan Patterns. Granite Res: Fishing is good to great. Use same set up as North Crow Res. Crystal Res: Fishing is good. Use same set up as North Crow Res. Beaver Ponds on Pole Mountain: Fishing is fair. |

Wheatland Res #3 |
There are still big fish in Wheatland #3. If you are willing to be patient you
may catch the biggest trout or walleye of your life! As of yet we still have not
heard that any meaningful amount of water was put in this year Carp Fishing is Excellent! Lake is extremely low. Carp fishing is good and is a lot of fun on a fly rod. Flies: Wooly Buggers, Cray Fish, Leech Patterns, Princes, San Juan Worms and Egg Patterns. |
